Act I
“How many think your life would make a helluva movie?”			“I know you’re busy, I just wanted to drop off some...”
“Well, if it’s that important, why’d you blow off the first class?”
“Exterior. Rio! Twinkling like a diamond in the night. A pontoon plane lands, the dashing aviator leaps out.”		“Venice, a dashing American-aviator-slash-musical-comedy star pursues a poor dancer posing as an heiress.”
“Well, in this relationship, I’m the little woman.”		“Who is this person? I know he’s Gavin, but just who is he?”
“Will you please stop bringing home strays? God, it’s so exhausting.”
“If the character says ‘No’, there’s a scene.”	“Why are you doing this?” “And here is our total debt. Zero!”
“Because you’re better at it than I am, so even if I’m right – you win.”
“Myrna Loy, the perfect wife.” “Why, because she’s dead?”
“Which is why I’m going to suggest…..we collaborate.”				“I just got an invitation through the mail, “Your presence expected…in white tie and tails.”

Act II
“Try a cracker. Chemical reaction. It’ll change the taste.”
“It’s a sauvignon blanc. Good with lighter seafood.”
“I’ve never seen any of those movies on a big screen.”	“You’re using him.” “No, I’m helping him.”
“They just punched me, that’s all. Kicked me. Got stabbed with a pencil one time.”
“Close on: her eyes, which go wide with shock as the oxygen is cut off.”		“He saves Mr. C. for last – Blam!.”
“So, what’s going on?”
“The school has resources, Counseling programs and stuff, totally free.”			“Oh God no, just what I need, another degree. Nope, this is just for fun.”
“You’ve been talking to Joel?” “Couple weeks now, after that time on the phone.”
“He said you’re in the ‘LTS’ file. ‘Life’s too short’ to work with Gavin Miller.”
“And maybe I can understand you lying to him, but did you have to lie to me?.”
“It’s a business full of kids and they just didn’t want you any more.”
“I’m puttin’ on my top hat…..			..puttin’ on my white tie, puttin’ on my tails!”
