We are told that this would be an easy city to get around by ourselves -
that a Tram Pass would take us anywhere we wanted to go – so off we went.

The most important place is, of course, the Nagasaki Atom Bomb Museum.

Pretty horrific stuff.

This is an example of the importance of the consideration of others to the Japanese.

PEACE PARK is a beautiful place set about with abundant sculptures
all dedicated to promoting an ending to war.

I was happy to catch this moment.

View the short video I took of 3 school groups singing or reciting in front of the PEACE STATURE.

One of the things that delighted us about the Japanese were their obsessive love of cartoon characters.
They were everywhere (even the police and fire department had cute animals as their logos).

We ate at a real table, and it had WiFi!

At first we didn’t think this were real.
